The Licence holder shall be required to formally confirm that all CSB installations undertaken by them shall be wholly in accordance with the Specification and construction details provided in the current suite of Britpave CSB drawings. The only exception shall be in the case of a Departure from Standard being provided by the Road Overseeing Organisation. Britpave will require sight of such Departures from Standard.
The Licence holder shall be required to provide confirmation of Employer and Public Liability insurance. The minimum value of cover shall be as stated on the Britpave Licence Application form.
The Licence holder shall be required to indemnify Britpave from any claim or loss arising from that company’s construction of non complaint barrier.
The Licence holder shall be required to provide Britpave with evidence of satisfactory employee training and slipform paving equipment maintenance records.
By way of an example Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card certification, as this demonstrates that Licensee employees have health and safety awareness as all cardholders have to pass the appropriate CITB-Construction Skills Health and Safety Test together with any additional internal training schemes.
Licensed installers must also agree to pay a levy proportional to the quantity of linear metres of CSB constructed per annum.
