Britpave Licence holders shall consent and facilitate third party auditing of their quality procedures and systems by a Britpave appointed agent undertaken at least annually.
Companies who are awarded a Licence must agree to the payment of a Royalty levy. This levy is directly proportional to the quantity in linear metres of CSB constructed per annum. The Licensee is required to confirm to Britpave quarterly the length, location and Client contact details of all CSB constructed. An invoice will be raised based upon this submission. The submission will be verified by contact with the Client. The levy provides a contribution to the cost of promoting and developing CSB. It is non-refundable should a Licence be revoked
The amount of all fees and royalty levies shall be as stated on the Britpave Licence Declaration form. A 12 month notification will be provided to Licence holders with regard to any future increases in registration fee or royalty levies.
The amount of the registration fees and royalty levies charges shall be identical for all Licence holders regardless of the size of the company or the quantity of CSB constructed.
A Britpave Licensed installer must hold third party certification to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 from a UKAS accredited certification body.
It is preferable but mandatory from 1st May 2007 for a Britpave Licensed installer to hold third party certification to BS EN ISO 14001: 2004 from a UKAS accredited certification body.
The scope for the BS EN ISO certification must encompass slipform paving concrete construction.
Sector Scheme 21 is currently being developed. Britpave Licensed installers are welcome to contribute to the developing quality system documentation. Britpave Licensed installers will be kept informed of developments and anticipated requirements of the scheme so that they can be prepared for the scheme’s mandatory requirements in advance of the scheme becoming mandatory.
Once Sector Scheme 21 is published there will follow a period where it will be preferable for Britpave Licensed installers to be Sector accredited. Ultimately it will be mandatory; once mandatory, Licences will be automatically revoked if the holder is not Sector accredited. The additional cost of application and award of Sector accreditation will be met by the Licence holders not Britpave.
Britpave Licence holders shall purchase a current set of CSB installation drawings. The fee for the drawings will be as published at the time of purchase.
